Why mill your own wheat?

It’s easier and cheaper to just buy a bag of wheat off a store shelf. So why would you mill your own wheat?

Yes, it’s more work. The nutrition can’t be beat, it tastes better than any store bought bread product, it’s extremely rewarding, bread was given to us as an almost complete food and it fill you up and is satisfying.

I made a video on why my family chooses to eat only fresh milled bread products. It’s a huge commitment, but I don’t regret a moment of it. On occasion I have allowed my kids to try tradition bread at a party or outing and they found they’d lost their taste for it.

The other benefit is we don’t get bloated or put on weight with fresh milled bread products. A few of my family members believed they needed to be gluten free. Turns out their bodies just can’t handle dead flour. My whole family can now enjoy bread products without digestive issues.
