Homesteading with a purpose.
Living the simple life isn’t easy. Follow along with us as we continue to homestead, growing and raising our own food, cooking our meals from scratch, raising our children with old fashioned values, to love the Lord, and having fun along the way. Join us through our challenges and successes.

Children are a blessing.
Psalms 127:3
Raising our children to know the Lord, understand why we chose this life, and how they can be an encouragement to others, sharing their talents and gifts with those around them.

Kids have talents
Uplifting, kid friendly videos the kids will record to encourage others and share their point of view regarding this life we live.

Nothing comes easy
We will work to share not only our successes but also our failures. It’s easy to share things that we’ve mastered, but what about the journey it took to get there? We want to share the good and the bad with you.

✓ Raising old fashioned children in a modern world
Homemade meals, made from scratch. Our goal is to grow most of our own food right here on our homestead.
It’s not about the times we live in or what’s going on in the economy. It’s about knowing where our food comes from, what it’s been eating or how it’s been grown. It’s about providing enough to keep all of these bellies full of healthy, nutrient dense foods that help our bodies instead of hindering them. Gut health is a big focus in our home, and we will share meals, recipes and more to show you how achievable it is for your family too.
We didn’t grow up this way.
We didn’t grow up raising our own food or even focusing on nutrition. We were Suburbians with no experience in self-sufficiency. We jumped in with both feet and haven’t stopped learning since. It’s been an uphill battle and well worth every bit of it.
