Fresh milled bread tastes best….but there’s more to it.

You can’t go wrong with fresh milled bread. It offers 40 of the 44 essential nutrients to sustain life. The 4 nutrients that wheat does not have are vitamin A, B12, C, and iodine.

You can get vitamin A by eating meat including fish, dairy and eggs.

Vitamin B12 is also found in meat including fish, dairy and eggs.

Vitamin C is found in fresh fruits and vegetables.

Iodine is in fish, meat, dairy, and eggs.

Here on the homestead I buy all of our wheat from azure standard, but we raise our own meat, we have a milk cow, and we have egg laying chickens. We grow a garden every year to supplement what we buy at the grocery store. If we were to eat only what we could get our hands on here, including the store bought wheat berries, we still have a well rounded diet with everything we need.

Man can almost live on bread alone.
